该专业主要就是研究数量，结构，变化以及空间模型等概念的一门学科。数学专业主要有三大要素，分别是逻辑和直观，分析和推理，共性和个性。专业开设的课程主要包括数学分析，高等代数，高等数学，常微分方程等等的课程。
